After 35 years in the US and UK corporate worlds, Vlasta and her other half, Tim, retired to the lovely island of Grenada in pursuit of a simpler life in the warmth of the sun and tropical seas. Quite an adventure in this next phase of life! Retirement and life on the rock has challenged her in so many ways with new things to learn each day including slowing down – critical to enjoying life here. There is such a thing however as too much slowing down, so she has set up a home baking business, has photography books in the works, is evolving and maintaining a half acre garden, and helps in the community whenever possible. Tim refers to her as a “project junkie”. When taking a break from her “addiction”, she swims, dives, and relaxes on the veranda with a glass of wine.
