April moved to Tortola six months ago with her husband, son Lincoln (age 9), and daughter Grace (age 7). Before moving to her rock she used to teach yoga and believes in looking on the bright side of life.
Yet, existing under the status of “dependent” is challenging so as an alternative to drowning herself in rum or in the pristine turquoise waters of the Caribbean sea, she has taken to developing online yoga courses.
When she’s not busy trying to salvage snippets of her previous identity, April is smiling at locals (sometimes these are returned), island-hopping, chillin’ with her kids, stringing beads in a semi-creative fashion, designing yoga t-shirts, writing, and recording audio yoga classes for Soundcloud.
