Jessica was born and raised in chilly Buffalo, New York and had her very first (big, rainy) island experience while studying abroad in Manchester, England. After graduation with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Sociology, Jessica relocated from Buffalo to (hot, dry, and sunny) Las Vegas, Nevada.

In Las Vegas, she met the love of her life, Carl, who would eventually be their reason to discover “real” island life. Together they relocated to Paradise Island, New Providence, Bahamas for Carl’s work as an Executive Chef.

Jessica has maintained a career as a National Makeup Artist in the United States as well as a childcare provider prior to moving to the Bahamas.
