Carrie moved to Belize with the intention of building a house in the jungle on the mainland with her husband. But shit happens, and she’s now completely directionless, in the process of figuring out how to get a divorce, and living on her own on the country’s most populated island, Ambergris Caye. Being anti-social and highly introverted, Carrie spends her days avoiding crowded touristy hang outs and beach barbecues, and instead, spends quality time with herself and the very few people she actually enjoys socializing with. She tries to make a living by utilizing her 13+ years of experience in massage therapy, bartending, and working as a chef and first mate for a sailing charter company. She also writes, occasionally, on her blog Letters to My Friends, and dreams of the day when some long lost, distant relative dies and leaves her butt loads of money so she can travel the world.
