Mary Mac has been an island girl for almost five years now. Hailing from New York City, she felt that because she had always detested the “three S’s” (Snow, Stress, and Subways), she knew a warm climate and a considerably more laid back lifestyle was better suited to her sensibilities (and her sanity!). Working ridiculously long and arduous hours as a paralegal in some big-time law firms in NYC, as well as working in various bars and restaurants (bartending/waitressing/managing) – at times laboring in both of these careers simultaneously (for more years than she cares to admit!) – Mary was certain this was not the life for her. Having visited the BVI for many years and as a result, having cultivated amazing friendships, Mary came to the realization that this was where she really belonged.
